Still settling in...

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the comments and congratulations! Well since we returned from Arkansas we have just been trying to relax and get settled in. Although it's been hard because most of our stuff (the boxes we had shipped) is still not at the house so once we get that we can start unpacking.

Yesterday was a fun day for me because Richelle and I went to visit the future site of the XMA World Headquarters where I will be working part time. Mr. Mike Chat invited me to see the new building and it is still a work in progress but once it's finished in 3 weeks it is going to be awesome! It is located in North Hollywood (30 mins from our place without traffic). The energy in Hollywood is amazing and I am so excited to be spending a lot of time there whether it is for work or pursuing my acting career.

I also had a chance to sit down with Mr. Chat so he could give me some guidance on what my first steps are going to be to launch my acting career. We talked for a while and he was very eager to help me out in any way. He even went as far as to give his commercial agent a call to put in a good word for me. A commercial agent is a person that helps their clients find roles in TV commercials and print ads. By the end of the day I had already called his agent to set up a meeting for representation and luckily I secured an interview for next Tuesday! If all goes well I could have commercial representation by the end of next week, but I won't get my hopes up yet. My next step is to start looking for an acting class.

Today Richelle, her Dad, two of her brothers, and myself drove about 2 hours south to San Diego to the San Diego County Fair. It's just like the MN state fair. It was a lot of fun but we are wiped out because we were there all day and night. Tomorrow we will pick up the rest of our boxes and start unpacking. I also need to find a car!! ahh all this stuff is stressful (a good kind though). Not to mention I have to prepare myself for my first meeting with an agent next Tuesday!

Next Wednesday (the 4th of July) Richelle and I are flying to Las Vegas for the Martial Arts Industry Supershow. The supershow is a convention for all sorts of people that work in the Martial Arts Business. I actually found out I was going a few days ago when Mike Chat asked me to go as a representative of the new XMA HQ.

Sorry about not getting in pics up yet, all of my electronic hookups and cables are in the boxes that we haven't gotten yet but as soon as i get that i will upload a lot of pics!
