I had the honor of portraying (albeit for only a few minutes) the late Eternal Grandmaster H.U. Lee at opening ceremonies. It was a lot of work to get his movement and mannerisms down but I think I nailed it. It was kind of like preparing for an acting role.. Actually, it w
as exactly like that. It's amazing how much I feel I got to know what he was like just by studying his movement and expressions. A warm-hearted, charismatic individual that had the gift of leadership in a way that everyone who ever met him wanted to follow him. The ATA definitely misses his presence.
On top of that, Kamen Rider and the ATA teamed up to promote the show at opening ceremonies in which i got to do a little demo.... and i fell on my butt :) Oh well I got right back up and continued to put on a show. On Saturday, Adness Ent. (Kamen Rider's parent company) set up a booth and gave away posters, cards, and even 1000 action figures! Needless to say the action figures went quickly! So quickly that i forgot to grab some for myself! I got to sign autographs and for that day I got to feel like a celebrity:)
Here's a picture I got from Ms. K of me with Jackson!
Hi Mr. and Mrs. Moh!
ReplyDeleteThat is some pretty kool pictures! How many autographs do u think u signed? it must have been a lot because u are now an official celebrity!
The opening ceremonies must have looked pretty kool! I have always wondered wut it would be like to be Eternal grandmaster and u got to experience it kinda! even though u fell, u probably still had a great performance because i know u always do.
Your knew blog is really kool! i like the video u made. it looked real. even though it took u less than five hours to make it, it looked like u put a lot of effort and time. i thought it looked like it took u a lot longer than just five hours. I liked how at the end u told the bullies to clean up for u. haha
We miss u a ton!
