In the In Between
So my callback with John Singleton for the film Fight for Love went great! It's now out of my hands and whatever is meant to happen will happen. In fact, I wrote a song about this whole experience actors go through when they are in waiting to hear news (good or bad). If you choose to listen, click the following link and remember I am not a professional, just a hobbyist :)

We will be back in MN for thanksgiving (98% chance at least).

Phirst time in Phoenix
Yesterday I had an audition for a film called "Fight for Love" directed by John Singleton of "Boyz in the Hood" fame and starring Tyrese Gibson (Transformers, Transformers 2). I read for the casting director and she is bringing me back for a callback on Tuesday to read for the director and the producers! I am happy that I did a good job with it and it was funny because at the casting office you could hear every other person auditioning over the walls so it was very interesting to hear what the other actors were doing. Some.. let's just say, didn't make the right choices on the material. Needless to say I will be preparing for this callback all weekend. I am also happy because it gives my agency more great feedback about my performance, which in turn, gets them more excited about pitching me for other projects.
It's been a pretty stressful week for Richelle at Mattel. They are cutting costs and they let go a LOT of people yesterday including her boss and 5 members of her team. Thankfully she was not let go. I just hope that the transition to her new "post-apocolypse" workplace is a smooth one.
Lastly, check out this new vid I put together with a few new clips of footage. Hope you like it!

Happy Halloween!

Hello everyone!
So this weekend Richelle and I are going out on the town for Halloween in Manhattan Beach. We're still not 100% sure what we'll go as. We are either going to be rappers or 70's style basketball players. We'll see.. Also on Saturday night we are going to the Jason Mraz concert at the Greek Theater that is right by the Griffith Park observatory. We are very excited!
I am currently training myself for my next acting role. I am not sure exactly what it is yet, but I am getting myself in top mental and physical shape for when it happens :) Positive thinking will keep me motivated in these slow times in Hollywood with the looming actors strike. A few months ago I had new headshots taken and my agency and I picked out a few favorites to use. I posted some at the end of this post.
I hope all of you guys are training hard and studying hard as well! Always remember that each day is an opportunity to make yourself a better person. Whether it be working extra hard in taekwondo class, or going above and beyond in your homework assignments, or helping out at your house or in your community, you should strive to better yourself a little each day.
I'd love to know what you guys will be for halloween. Let me know and send pics to mike.moh@gmail.com!

I'm Alive!
Last weekend, Mrs. Moh and I had one of the most fun, imaginative, and educational outings since we've been in California. We went to the Griffith Park Observatory. We learned a ton about the universe and space and we saw an AMAZING show in the nation's nicest planetarium. It really put things in perspective for me. It also is very humbling to know that our world is just a tiny spec of dust (maybe not even that big) in the scope of the entire universe. If you're ever in Los Angeles, you MUST go to the Griffith Park Obervatory.... MUST!!!

The last few months have been very slow in show business.... for EVERYONE. The actors are preparing for a possible strike so there are not too many auditions at the moment. It's been frustrating but at the same time I need to take this down time and use it to better myself as an actor and in general. It's also given me more time to do more martial arts training which has been really nice. Sometimes I forget how I ended up here in Los Angeles in the first place, and in the end it all boils down to my love of the martial arts. Without martial arts, my life would be very different. Needless to say, no matter where my current career path leads, I will always be a student and teacher of martial arts.
In other news, I did some voice work on Kamen Rider and it was really fun to work on.. but the best part of it was that I got to see a lot of my scenes for the show and also in general. I have a strong feeling that this show is gonna be the next big thing. Of course I am biased but I saw a good portion of one of the episodes that was fully completed and I was amazed at how awesome it was. From being on set to watching the finished product it is like night and day. If Jerry Bruckheimer produced a kids TV show, this is what it would look like. I can't wait for you guys to see it in February!
Also, check this out: www.xmahq.com
There's a video of a test commercial that I shot a while. The director was going for an animalistic feel, hense the wild outfit. Hope you like it!

I am Batman... and robin.. and joker, and etc..
http://dcherozone.kidswb.com/page/mcdonalds/lego/videos.html
I did all the characters for episodes 4 and 5.
So the last couple weeks have been excited but also frustrating!!! I was a finalist for a huge national commercial for Arby's that I would have been shooting today and tomorrow but I didn't get it :(
At least I was a finalist which is always a good thing. I also went back to work on Kamen Rider doing the voice work for my character "Kamen Rider AXE". I got to see a bunch of the scenes we filmed and let me tell you... it looks AWESOME I can't wait for it to air so you guys can see it!
Other than that Mrs. Moh and I have been busy working and spending time together with our dogs! We also found a really cool place called the sports harbour where there are a ton of vikings fans we can watch the game with! It's right by our house!
Anyways, hope you all are doing well in school and having a good time. Mrs. Moh is going back to MN this weekend for a quick visit and her high school reunion so maybe you'll run into her! As for me, we'll both be back either for Thanksgiving or XMas, haven't decided yet.

Goodbye summer...?

Summer is coming to an end... but it doesn't feel like it because it's still so nice out! This past labor day weekend Mrs. Moh and I made an excursion to the San Diego area for a mini vacation. We went to the Del Mar Horse Track, the beach, and went snorkeling and kayaking in La Jolla.
I was supposed to go to an audition today for a major feature film called "The Hangover" where I would have played a tough asian thug. I practiced a lot and was excited and then my agent called and told me they canceled the audition because the producers wanted to change the direction of the role. That's the nature of the business though! The good news is that I have another audition tomorrow for a George Clooney movie called "Men Who Stare at Goats" as a "Jedi Recruit".

CSI!

So Yesterday I had an audition for CSI! I did great as a "Korean Speaking Officer". I probably look a little too young to get the part but I am happy I did a good job with it. I am so excited that my new agency is getting me great auditions like this already!
I also started a new project yesterday. I am doing motion capture work for "Lego Batman" the videogame. Very fun stuff! I got to be batman, robin, the joker, and the penguin!
This morning I got new headshots with Blake Gardner. I will post some up when i get them back!
In other news... I am 25 today! Wow. a quarter of a century old today! Mrs. Moh and I went to a dodgers game this past weekend and went out to celebrate. We also went up to Malibu to have a birthday bbq with her family and my brother and then this weekend we're going to the Twins game versus the Angels!

Skydiving!!
Here are some pics of us being crazy! Richelle and I went skydiving with her dad Dayne as a birthday present and we all had a blast! Sorry that most of the pics are of me... Ricci only wanted the videotape... I will upload those to youtube and share those soon! After that we had a great weekend spending time with the family in Malibu just getting some nice rest and relaxation. Perfect way to start off the week! Now we get to go back to MN this weekend!

Gaining Momentum...

So yesterday I wrote that Mrs. Moh didn't feel the earthquake. I was wrong. She definitely felt it at her work. I was just pretty confused when I was emailing back and forth with her because our phone service went out.
This weekend Richelle, her dad, and myself are headed up north a few hours to go skydiving in Santa Barbara. I am nervous and excited. It will be my first time. You only live once right??? Then the following weekend we'll be in MN!!!
For those of you that are doing the summer camp I will be guest-instructing a portion of the camp on Friday! I can't wait to work with you guys! Then on Saturday I am headed to Burnsville ATA to do a Summer XMA Clinic. But the thing I am most looking forward to is the picnic!
Tuesday, July 29, 2008
WOW... 2 things... but first: EARTHQUAKE!???
Everythings fine now, but my phone doesnt work so I can't call my wife to tell her about it. But emails back and forth will have to do. She must not have felt it in El Segundo where Mattel is.
Another bit of news... I was actually booking our tix back to MN while the quake hit. We're coming back on August 7th-10th. Finally! Hope to see you all at the picnic and throughout the weekend.

Strong quake shakes Southern California
By ROBERT JABLON, Associated Press Writer 1 minute ago
LOS ANGELES - A strong earthquake shook Southern California on Tuesday, causing buildings to sway and triggering some precautionary evacuations. No immediate damage was reported.
The jolt was felt from Los Angeles to San Diego, and slightly in Las Vegas.
Preliminary information from the U.S. Geological Survey estimated the quake at magnitude 5.8, centered 29 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles near Chino Hills in San Bernardino County. Ten aftershocks occurred in the next dozen minutes, including three estimated at 3.8, and the U.S. Geological Survey estimated the quake was about 8 miles below the earth's surface.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said there were no immediate reports of damage or injury in Los Angeles. San Bernardino County fire dispatch also had no immediate reports of damage.
The quake struck at 11:42 a.m. PDT. Buildings swayed in downtown Los Angeles for several seconds.
Workers quickly evacuated some office buildings.
"It was dramatic. The whole building moved and it lasted for a while," said Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore, who was in the sheriff's suburban Monterey Park headquarters east of Los Angeles.
In Orange County, about 2000 detectives were attending gang conference at a Marriott hotel in Anaheim when a violent jolt shook the main conference room.
Mike Willever, who was at the hotel, said, "First we heard the ceiling shaking, then the chandelier started to shake, then there was a sudden movement of the floor."
Chris Watkins, from San Diego, said he previously felt several earthquakes, but "that was one of the worst ones."
Delegates and guests at a cluster of hotels near the Disneyland resort spilled into the streets immediately after the quake.
The 1994 Northridge earthquake under Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley was magnitude 6.7. It killed 72 people, injured more than 9,000 and caused $25 billion in damage in the metropolitan area.
The damage created by an earthquake depends greatly on where it hits. A 7.1 quake — much stronger than Northridge — hit the Mojave Desert in 1999 but caused only a few injuries and no deaths.
California is one of the world's most seismically active regions. More than 300 faults crisscross the state, which sits atop two of Earth's major tectonic plates, the Pacific and North American plates. About 10,000 quakes each year rattle Southern California alone, although most of them are too small to be felt.

Miss you all!
Both Mrs moh and i have been VERY busy lately but we like it that way. We are still scouring the nets for reasonably priced tix back to MN. We would love to come back before the fall!!
I will post an update of what we've been up to soon!!
Thursday, July 10, 2008
Wow. It's late!
I have some time to kill so I will reflect on my recent happenings. So for those of you that still read this blog, sorry if I ramble on without any sense of order or... sense. (Thanks to those of you that still remember us by the way!! :)) Today, I was rehearsing a scene in the apartment for my upcoming shoot to finish the film "Greenside". Towards the end of the scene my character rises out of his seat to grab someone's neck. Instead of powerfully lunging out of the chair, I stumbled out of it as I broke the chair. As a bonus, my right leg was cut pretty deeply by a shard of the broken wood. AWESOME! not so much...
So my leg hasn't really stopped bleeding. Not too much pain, but just a lot of blood. Hopefully it stops sooowoafjeawiofmsd......
Whew. Blacked out for a moment. Just kidding. So anyways this Friday I fly to Chicago and then I will be driven 2 hours to Madison where I will film the final scene of this movie. As I look back from the footage of what we originally shot almost a year ago, I laugh at my "acting" chops. Not that it was horrible, but it wasn't... what's the word I should use.... good. At least I can see now that I can do much much better now and that's a symbol of my growth as a performer.
Since the end of the play I have enrolled in an acting class that meets once per week. It's a really fun process for me to study the craft of acting. After doing martial arts competitions for so long where there is a cut and dry 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, it's nice to make a change into something that is a little less cut-and-dry. There IS a right way to do a punch or a kick. There is NOT a right or wrong way to play a character. It is simply a choice. That being said, some choices are stronger than others. I have made it a point to practice everyday, but I know I could be practicing more. So I will.
Lately I have also been having a lot more free-time than I have had in a while. So I have taken up cooking. Mrs. Moh is at work all day working hard for the family and the least I can do is have dinner waiting for her right? Right. I've only been at it for a few days but needless to say she is quite pleased. I've been surprised at how good my creations have turned out! I have also made it a goal of mine to get my body in tip top shape. I've been going to the gym almost everyday and have been trying to get back to being the martial artist I was way-back-when!
Cheech had his teeth cleaned. Boy were they dirty. $400 later they are now spotless. They had to extract a tooth because it was infected. Cha-gi is turning out to be a great dog. He and Cheech play for hours a day now so that makes it much better too. Not all dogs are perfect though... he snores louder than (insert someone you know that snores very loud)!
Let's see. what else.... we are going skydiving next weekend. Wow. Should be fun. Kinda scared. But don't tell anyone.
Okay I've written too much. One last thing: Wall-E rocks!

Summertime- time to set new GOALS!!
I miss you guys! We were hoping to make it back for the 4th of July weekend but plane tix are SOOOO expensive right now! We were also hoping to go to worlds to go cheer all you guys on but right now plane tix are over $700 each.
Hopefully tix to MN will get cheaper and not more expensive! The Moh's are keeping busy as ever as Richelle continues to excel at her new job at Mattel. She is already leading meetings and heading up a project team for a toy line called "Little Mommy". She is doing great I am so proud of her.
Congrats to all of you kids that are now in Summer Break! Remember that not only is this a time to relax and have fun, it's a time where you can focus on setting and attaining new goals! Even I did this the other day. I wrote down my goals and pinned them up on my "dream board". A dream board is a corkboard. On that corkboard you pin pictures of things you want or goals you want to achieve. I pinned the saying: "if you believe you can achieve". By looking at this board everyday you can remind yourself of what your goals are and when you think positively about these things your attitude will help you attain these things and goals. Maybe you guys can post a picture of a toy or game you really want on your board. By seeing that everyday you can think of things you can do everyday to earn that game whether it be doing jobs, or who knows even being nice to your brother and sister. I bet if you guys make a "dream board", post your goals, and maintain a positive attitude and hard work ethic, you will achieve your goals!
In other news, I am starting my LAST week of performing Pippin for EastWestPlayers. It's been a fun and exciting ride and I have made great friendships but I am excited to move on to the next project! In other news, I had the chance to audition for a film called "Gran Torino" starring and directed by.... CLINT EASTWOOD! I had to send in a videotaped audition and I think I did great but I am just excited that I got to audition for an Eastwood film!
I also got some great news: Kamen Rider will be hitting the airs possibly late this year and no later than February next year as it has been picked up by the CW. It will air on the Saturday morning cartoon block: The CW4Kids. It will air alongside shows like YuGiOh and Ninja Turtles.. So COOL!

Until next time.... don't spend too much time inside. Go outside and be active!

Update
We are busy as ever and we are loving our new place, and our new neighborhood! Mrs. Moh is loving her new job at Mattel and I am still hard at work on the play: Pippin. Here is a link to a news story that the Los Angeles NBC affiliate did on us:
http://video.knbc.com/player/?id=255928
Don't poke fun of my "dancing" haha.
It's been a pretty frustrating month for me as I was put "on avail" for 3 different commercials and did not book any of them. If you don't know, being put "on avail" means you are a finalist for a job. They were for Gillette, Pepsi, and Verizon. For a little while I started to lose confidence in myself and it was discouraging but I just had to remind myself that it's all part of the journey of being an actor and that I should be grateful that I was even in the final running at all. I know that soon I will book another big job!
On a positive note, for the last few weeks I have been doing motion-capture (mo-cap) work for an upcoming video game called "The Rise of the Argonauts". It will be released in September for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. I play a few of the villains in the cinematic cut scenes. It's a lot of fun but it's hard work!
I have 3 more weeks of Pippin since we just got extended another 2 weeks. It's been a long process but a memorable one at that. I am looking forward to having more free time once the play is over!
Mrs. Moh and I will be heading back to Excel over the 4th of July weekend and Ms. K and I are working on putting together a 3 day summer camp the following Mon, Tues, and Wednesday. I will give you more details once we figure it all out but I hope you guys can make it, or at least stop by to visit!
After our visit to MN I will be heading to Madison, WI to film more of the movie "Greenside". This is the film that I went to Chicago for last year and since that time the film has generated a lot of buzz so the producer is extending the movie to film a new ending and it will be released around September. Here is a link to the trailer of the film, I am not in this trailer but I am one of the main characters that is introduced in the second half of the film.

Okay... wow I need to learn to post more often so you guys don't have to read such long posts when i finally update! By the way, thanks Alex Hovda for reminding me to post :)
-Until next time (hopefully not too long from now!)
PS- I found the cord... here is a pic of "Cha-Gi", the newest "MOH" member!

Finally.. a few moments of rest!
Well things have been very very very crazy, stressful, and busy!
I barely have had time to rest, let alone blog so I apologize for being a stranger! I'll keep this one short and elaborate later.
Things that have been going on with the Moh's:
1. Richelle got a new job!! She was offered a very lucrative deal as a "Sr. Product Planner" at a great company: Mattel... You know, HOT WHEELS, BARBIES... pretty cool huh???
2. WE MOVED INTO OUR OWN PLACE!!! It's in Culver City, closer to where Richelle's new job is and closer to Hollywood for all my auditions :) We've bought a lot of furniture, put it together, you know all that.
3. I have been rehearsing 6 days a week for Pippin and we had our first preview performances this weekend. I actually just got home from our Sunday matinee. Wow.. what a grueling but exciting process it has been so far.
Here's an article on the show that was in the L.A. Times!!! (My name is mentioned!!):
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-ca-pippin11-2008may11,0,1974185.story
4. We got a new dog!! Cheech has been lonely in our new place so we rescued a dog from the local shelter.. we pick him up tomorrow and we'll introduce him to you with pics soon.
There's more, but i need to sit on the couch and just relax now!! Hope all is well and congrats to all the newly promoted students at this weekends testing!

Great weekend!
It was so nice to see everyone again this weekend at the tournament. Mrs Moh and i had so much fun seeing you and it was sad to leave MN because we wish we had more time to spend with everyone! I had a blast working with some of you at the seminars on Sunday. You all have improved so much and it was great to be able to work with you again. I got so excited teaching that I now have no voice! Just like at Excel when I would always lose my voice.
Katie F.- you did a great job helping out and demonstrating moves at the seminar, Thanks!
Now we are back in Los Angeles and our first order of business is to move out of the guest house we have been in since we first arrived. It has been so nice living here while we got adjusted to California life but now we are ready to find a home for ourselves. Luckily Mondays are my days off from play rehearsal so I should be able to get some work done.
Anyways I better get going but now that I know a lot of people have been reading I will make a better effort to update the blog more!
Until next time!

Losing track of time!
Stevens Family... wow it sounds like you guys are as busy as ever! Congrats to all of you guys for sticking to your goals and accomplishing your new belts! Not only that but it sounds like you guys are really balancing your other activities on top of that. I am so proud of you guys!
As far as the dancing goes... I wish I could have Brenna and Olivia give me some lessons because I booked one of 3 ensemble roles in the musical "Pippin" for the East-West Players (EWP) theater company. It is such an honor to be a part of this prestigious theater company. One of my goals upon moving to LA was to do a show for EWP and I can't believe I am already about to reach that goal. On top of booking the role, I was offered entry into the Actors Equity Association (AEA) which is the union for all major theater performers. The AEA is like SAG, but for theater performers. It is equally if not harder to get into AEA so I feel so lucky to have gotten both cards less than a year into my career. I've heard that many actors try for years before getting in.
http://www.eastwestplayers.org/
Starting on the 8th, I will be rehearsing 6 days a week for hours upon hours to prepare for the show. I have done musicals in high school but this is so much bigger I hope I have what it takes to survive the 11 weeks I will be involved with this project! One thing is for sure, I will gain a ton of experience doing this show and I will become a much better dancer, singer, and performer in general. I am excited because they are using an Japanese Anime, hop-hop styling to the show. In part of the dance audition, I was able to showcase my martial arts talent and apparently they are looking to showcase my skills as a part of the dance numbers... sounds good to me!
Lately it's been very busy with everything that I have sometimes forgotten what day and month it is! On top of that, Richelle and I are searching for an apartment or house to rent that is closer to the city. The weather has been beautiful and we just celebrated our first Easter together. It was great!
Alex, you are a funny guy with funny comments. Good work getting those tricks down. You guys did awesome in Vegas and if you guys continue to work hard you have a great shot at the title! But remember you guys can never practice enough!
Well on Sunday I have my last day on the set of Kamen Rider. I can't believe it's already been 3 months since I started. I have had so much fun I am sad it will be over soon! On the other hand, there will be much more good times to come as we find out what channel and when it will air, and then finally watching it on TV! From the footage I have seen from the show lately, this show is going to be a mega-hit with kids.... when I saw the latest trailer they put together last week, I was honestly amazed at how cool all the effects and how good the show looked! I just wish you guys could see it! Last week on set one of the stunt guys from Japan gave me a gift... my own action figure!!!! I attached a pic for you to see! The other pic is Mrs. Moh cooking Easter BruncH!

New Website!
Well I thought I would share my new actor webpage with you guys at www.mikemoh.net
Mrs. Moh made it for me with the help of Mr. Zilles. Thanks guys!
Anyways, I have been keeping very busy auditioning for various projects and looking for a new acting class. I checked out a class last week and it dawned on me while I watched the actors work that I have a LONG ways to go before I become a great actor.... I need to use the same hard work and dedication I used to become a good martial artist and apply it to becoming a good actor.
I just got back from a callback for the musical "Pippin". I'm crossing my fingers that I will get the part of "Lewis"... the dim-witted half brother of Pippin.. it's actually a pretty good role for me to play!! I will keep you guys posted on it!!

My first post!
I guess as for me, over the last few months I have been doing lots of traveling for both work and play. I went to San Fransisco to watch the Vikings play the 49ers with my mom, then Mike and I went to Vegas twice (once with my work and once for ATA), then I was in both Hong Kong and London for work. It has been lots of fun and London has been by far my favorite. I am a nerd, so I loved all of the amazing history in London. My favorite part had to be Westminster Abbey, I stood in the same place that all of the Kings and Queens for the last 500 years had been crowned. It really makes me want to do a lot more traveling, although I would definitely prefer to go with Mike the next time.
Hope all is great with everyone! Here are some pics from some of my travels. The first is Hong Kong Harbor. The second is Miss K and I on the trolley in San Fransisco and the third is On the London Eye (Worlds largest ferris wheel). You can see Big Ben and the Parliament Building lit up behind me.

Currently I am sitting in my hotel in St. Louis because of all the times I had to be here, there HAD to be a giant snowstorm that stranded me here. I have a really early flight to Rochester MN tomorrow for another appearance as Tekkno Ace! It's been fun visiting different Charter headquarters and visiting with all the employees as a superhero. I will post pics of me in the costume as soon as I get home!
Gotta go!
bye!

Busy busy!
Sorry the posts have been less frequent as of late! It's been getting really busy but that is a good thing i suppose. Where to start.. well we got back from Vegas this week and it was a great trip! We saw the Excel demo team qualify for world championships which was great, they did an awesome job! It was a bummer not being ready for competition but on the other hand it was nice to not have to worry about competition for once.
The last few days have been very busy and full of stress as this next week is extremely busy for me. I start shooting Kamen Rider again tomorrow at 6am and after a few more weeks of that the entire season will be wrapped and ready for post production. Friday , Sat, and Sun I shoot on the show and then monday i leave for my charter communications road trip which i had a costume fitting for today. The super hero "Techno Ace" suit is actually pretty cool and they built muscles into my suit to make me look buff!
I also had an audition for a big musical production "Pippin". It was fun but also very humbling!! Since it's a musical I had to audition as a dance first. I could barely keep up with the choreography and everyone at the audition had more dance experience than me but somehow I picked it up and was asked back for the next audition which would be a vocal audition. I sang "U remind Me" by Usher and it went really well. I'm crossing my fingers that I get a part in the musical because it would be something different and it would really help me grow as a performer.
I hear it's really cold in MN, we're definitely not missing the snow!!! Please comment with updates!

Whew!
So this morning I went on a run through the neighborhood. Up and down hills for a little over a mile. Wow.... I am SO out of shape. I barely made it without walking. I have been so focused on getting a good start to my acting career. Sure, I have been teaching a few times per week and that's been a great way to keep myself kicking but I really haven't trained since last June.
Heading to Vegas on Wednesday morning on a quick 45 min. flight from Burbank. The only thing that worries me is that my agent said that I may have a fitting for the spokesperson job I booked later on next week so if that is the case I might not be able to go until Friday. It always seems like whenever we make plans to go somewhere, something comes up at the exact worst possible time! I am keeping my fingers crossed that i will have the fitting after Vegas.
I am so excited to go and catch up with friends and hopefully see a bunch of Excel students! It will also be nice to not have to worry about competing! This year is my last year on the World Demo Team and it has been a great 4 years but I feel like it is definitely time to move on. I've met so many awesome people and it has definitely opened up a lot of doors for me but I am now the longest tenured member and I think that people are sick of seeing me in the demos! Also it gives new people the opportunity to be on the team.
Well I hope to see some of you there and I can't wait to see the Excel demo team perform! They are gonna do awesome I know the team has been working hard so I am proud of you guys no matter what!
Here are some pics of Mrs. Moh and I from when we went to Disneyland a few weeks ago!

Superhero
Sorry for the long delay. Today I had a great reason to blog. I booked a job... not on a commercial, tv show, or a movie.... but I have been tabbed to become: "Tekkie Ace".
Tekkie Ace is a superhero spokesman for Charter Communications (think comcast, but only in California). I will be touring 7 cities in 5 days appearing as a high-tech superhero. Should be a really fun gig but also really tough! I auditioned for this role a few weeks back and I felt really good about the audition because I always used to pretend to talk and act like a superhero when I taught XMA and Tiny Tigers so I was prepared. I added a few kicks and flips to the actions and also did an XMA powerpunch. Whatever I did, they liked it!
Next month I will be returning to the set of Kamen Rider to film the last few episodes. It's gonna be a busy few months leading up to April and then we'll be back for the Twin Cities Tournament! Can't wait to see you guys again!
This weekend Mrs. Moh will be traveling to London for business. She has always wanted to go so I am excited for her but also sad that I couldn't make the trip with her. She says she will post her first entry in the blog when she returns!
Next weekend we're off to Vegas for Spring Nationals! We'll be cheering on the excel demo team at the team competition!

Hiatus
Berglunds- Great to hear from you guys! I am glad you guys had a great time at the tournament. Sounds like you both have been working very hard. About that weather.... yeah we don't miss it too much :)
All is well here. The first phase of my work on the TV show is complete. I am now on what is called "hiatus". It's just a word the business uses for taking a break. The good news is that my character comes back and I still have voice work to do. That means that when my character is in it's warrior suit I still have to go in the studio and record all of my lines to match up with those warrior action sequences. I wish I could show you guys some pictures but I am not allowed to.
I really feel great about the work I have done on the show. I think I have really grown as a performer and hopefully I continue to grow with each experience I get. I just can't wait for it to air on TV so you guys can see the show! Now my focus is back on auditioning for commercials. Since the writer's strike is still ongoing, there are little to no TV shows or movies holding auditions but commercials are still ongoing.
Mrs. Moh and I will be headed to vegas for ATA Spring Nationals. We hope to see some of you guys there!

Viva Las Vegas
I start filming KRDK again on Thursday and my last day on the set(for a while at least) will be next week. I want to tell you guys all about it but I am really not allowed to. I am having a blast and I feel so lucky to be working on such a great show with a great cast and crew. I think you guys will really enjoy the show when it hits the air.
Today I had my first commercial audition in a while. It's been very slow due to the writer's strike. The commercial is for KFC and all I had to do was pretend to play ping-pong! I love ping pong so I had fun with it and hopefully they will want to see me again!
Good luck to all of you that are going to Iowa for the tournament! Do your best and have fun!

First Post of the Year
Here's something we wanted to share with you. Enjoy!
